Bridgestone World Solar Challenge

The 35-year-old race brings together students, top universities, and companies from around the world every other year, with nearly 15 million spectators following their adventures over 3,000 km.

On the race from Darwin to Adelaide, extreme heat, terrain, and unpredictable road conditions await.

The teams will complete the journey in approximately one week, starting each day with the sunrise and camping where the sun sets at 17:00.

It is a journey that will test not only the technical abilities of the team members but also their morale and mental endurance.

    Foam, a milling machine, and hundreds of hours...

    Did you know that creating Solaride's next solar car required more than 13 m³ of molding foam? And if that doesn't sound impressive enough, it took more than 400 hours on the milling machine to carve out the molds!

    Handmade in Estonia

    Over 1332 hours of sanding were spent finishing the molds, which is more than 55 consecutive days of sanding! To achieve a perfectly smooth surface, 45 liters of spray filler and 8 kilograms of regular filler were used.
